What Party Are We Voting For — Naira Marley Asks

Singer, Naira Marley, on Wednesday, said he wants to donate one billion Naira towards the 2023 election but wanted to find out what party his fans are rooting for.

Via his Twitter handle, the singer asked, “I wanna donate 1 billion Naira for 2023 election but what party are we voting for?”

Some of his followers have been responding to his tweets. Big Shaq said, “Oga your net worth no reach like that gan.”

Popular Twitter critic, Daniel Regha added his two cents saying, “Naira Marley u don't have a billion, u are not that wealthy, & it's advisable u tread carefully since u are still being watched by the EFCC; Having said that, the 2023 elections isn't a joke, Nigerians are literally fighting for their lives right now so don't chase clout with it.”

Another tweep, Jojo said, “I am sure you have people around you that really need that money. You can give them, and maybe they will be glad you did and advise them to vote (for) competence and a working Nigeria."

The family of late gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu have been thrown into mourning again as they received her remains. About two months after her demise, the remains of late gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu have arrived for interment in Abia state, The Nation reports. The singer’s body was received in her hometown in Amakpoke Umuaku community, Abia around 12:00pm. It was reported that Osinachi, who sang the popular song ‘Ekwueme’ died on Friday, April 8, 2022. Prior to the final internment on Saturday, a night of worship was held in Abuja on Thursday, June 23 while a Night of Prayer was also held in Isochi, Umunoci in Abia state yesterday, June 24.
